Finally...a first post!

I've considered blogging for quite some time now, and I've decided today is the day.  I've been enjoying my first summer off as a teacher and am getting ready to get back to school.  This summer, I have cleaned out most of my house, done some online yard sales (If you haven't tried it, you should!  I've sold lots and even made some friends).  I also had the privilege of attending two conferences last month.  The first was Rachel's Challenge in Grapevine, TX.  The second was the National Model Schools Convention in Washington, D.C.  I highly recommend both if you ever have the opportunity.  I will dedicate a post to both of those later.  As I'm typing this, I realize that I don't have an audience yet.  But, I have built it, so maybe you will come. :)
